Product features

Our 9 Watt G12 LED lamp incorporates 45 pieces of our high-quality Epistar 5050 SMD LEDs each consuming only 0.24 Watts per surface mounted diode. Collectively combined they produce and emit 900 Lumen of light or comparable in illumination to a standard 10W ceramic metal halide product.

These single ended G12 LED replacements provide an outstanding CRI:85 colour rendering and smoother distribution of light. Ideal replacements for drawing attention to merchandise and delicate displays within a proper retail environment. Also used in and around offices and public buildings, as well as for outdoor professional flood light applications and pedestrian lights.

LED's offer superb heat dissipation, resulting in excellent lumen maintenance and lighting performance. The forty-five highly efficient LEDs also allow fixture manufacturers to use reflectors to effectively control the beam and create powerful highlight or accent lighting.

Please note: G12 LED lamps have almost identical dimensions to their ceramic metal halide counterparts. Downlights that accept a metal halide lamp should ordinarily be equipped with a robust glass cover as a matter of insurance. This isn't necessary when converting your existing down-lights to LED as no high pressures are being developed and as a consequence avoids the possibility of a failure or worse again a complete blowout.

Our G12 LED lamps are a retro-fit replacement for the highly favoured Philips MASTERColour CDM-T series. Other manufacturers references include: Venture Lighting – Ceramic master plus CM-Plus T lamps, Osram – Powerball HCI-T, Sylvania – Superia CMI-T and GE – Constantcolor CMH.
